non fashion-related things that have made me happy recently..

1. Rufio

-the amazing kind of old-school punk band, not the kid with the red mohawk.

"In My Eyes" on loop.

2. Learning guitar

- this one's kind of a love/hate rela. because, it's the most frustrating thing i've ever tried to do, but so much fun when you get it.

3. Random non-school/work related art projects and drinking tea out of coffee mugs.

spring in feb--why not?

i'm in absolute true love with the spring trends that came oh-so early this year.

it's like christmas in october.

lets start with my number 1--florals.

girls if you don't already love florals, you will fall soon enough..

they are so delicately femme, that they make you feel like a princess, without the tulle.

i do love my tulle, but that's another story.

so what if you're not all about super frilly, girly style? that's okay too!

i like my denim distressed and my doc martens just as much as the next girl, and that makes florals even more fun to play with.

example: i bought an adorable vintage floral silk top, and paired it with some black denim shorts and black leather over-the-knee riding boots. i'll try to remember to get a pic up soon..

basically, florals are a must. whether you rock em with a leather jacket or a cardigan.

next up.. light wash denim.

light wash denim anything! vintage, acid-wash, shorts, jackets..all of it is good.

yes, even denim button-up shirts are back in a big way, for guys and gals.

cherry on top of this fashion cake, is that you can find florals and light wash denim at vintage/thrift stores! happy hunting ;)

so i def started this as an emo blog, for no one to really see except myself, and maybe my co-blogging friend queenieQ.. i've deleted all the emo posts, for anyone and everyone's future conveniences.

but anyways, i don't want this to be a gushy kinda blog, nor do i want to simply rant about douchebags.. God knows i could go on for days. but i'd rather make this blog about things that make me happy.. primarily fashion. with maybe some randoms thrown in here and there.. life needs a little spontaneity, does it not?
